A Midnight Visit
2018 – 2020
A Midnight Visit is the first production of Broad Encounters, Australia’s boundary-pushing pioneer of immersive live theatre. I was Marketing & Project Coordinator across three seasons of this Edgar Allen Poe-inspired show, amassing fans from zero into the thousands across various platforms and databases, and converting tens of thousands into customers.

Maho Magic Bar
2019-2020
A pop-up bar and interactive live magic show direct from Japan, Maho Magic Bar was Broad Encounters’ second production, premiering at the Garden of Unearthly Delights in 2020. Step inside, and you’d be transported to a Tokyo night of sake cocktails and high-class magic. Happily, ninety per cent of our seats were filled.

Festival of Dangerous Ideas
2018
Sydney’s original provocative ideas festival went into sleep mode in 2017 with the departure of major partner, the Sydney Opera House. In 2018, the festival cracked back open its gimlet eye. I was hired to head up and cultivate from scratch the marketing channels leading up to, during and following the three-day festival period. Speakers that year (that I was very privileged to live-tweet) included Stephen Fry, Germaine Greer and Rukmini Callimachi.

Supplying quality reads to the Balmain community for generations, Brays Books underwent new ownership and became Roaring Stories in 2019, with a major brand overhaul. It is my mission to retain the loyalty of existing customers, while cultivating new, younger audiences. The initiative is spearheaded by content marketing, involving a new blog-based website, sophisticated and consistent social media posting, and advanced communications.

Roaring Stories
2019 – Current
An iconic Darlinghurst night life destination, the Burdekin Hotel pulls large and diverse crowds to its multiple levels, hosting emo-punk parties, techno pop crowds, drag queen shows and high-class private functions. In July 2020, I was taken on board to command the digital channels as content producer and copywriter.
