Mainly kind and occasionally catty reviews of Sydney theatre, art, comedy and sundry. It’s impossible to say just what a thing is in this world, but here’s to trying, and trying not to be dull.
Two Cents: Nun Slut (Sydney Fringe)
There is an orgiastic floor-duster sequence, a communion that becomes a tasty cheeseboard that becomes a body horror game of chubby bunny, a high-energy youth camp leader, and an appearance from Barnaby Joyce at Sunday church with his mistress. Be warned and praise be: there are things you will not be able to unsee.
Two Cents: Dial M for Mushrooms (Sydney Fringe)
Zany and deranged, this musical comedy imagines the jury of the Mushroom Murders in their final deliberations.
